LETTER FROM PAUL PIEPER
SMILE’s director pictured right
Working at SMILE has been a labor of love. Helping to achieve and ensure that those with developmental disabilities live lives of dignity, independence and respect has been a great point of my 25 year career of working as a volunteer, caseworker, and advocate for those with special needs. Our well trained and experienced staff create an environment to assist SMILE’s family members in achieving independence in life. Because at SMILE we consider those that we assist and care for our family and handle each with the utmost care and respect deserving of every individual. We offer a pathway of independence for those special individuals allowing their families to rest assured that their loved ones are in good, caring hands. By offering options that support both day care programs and longer term living care SMILE provides the choices that special needs families are in need. SMILE believes in putting Christian values into practice through acting in a spirit of love, compassion and kindness in the treatment and care of the people it serves. Our aim at SMILE is to transform lives one individual at a time, open our hearts and reach out to those in the special needs community and beyond.
