Volunteers must complete an application for employment and meet the same onboarding and training requirements as employees to be eligible to volunteer at SMILE which includes completing a national criminal records background check and providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Volunteer opportunities available: administrative support; direct support to guide independent living skills; instruction on leisure, recreational, culinary, nutrition/fitness, and arts/craft activities.
